Famille Dupont Blanc de Pomme 2021 BIO Still 8% 75cl

The Domaine Famille Dupont is located in the heart of the Pays d'Auge region of Normandy. The estate's orchards cover 30 hectares in the heart of the Pays d'Auge region, comprising 6,000 apple trees in 13 different varieties. The family business, built up by three generations of cider makers, emphasizes quality and inventiveness.

Using the best techniques, second generation cider maker Etienne Dupont has managed to achieve the same level of elegance and expressiveness as in the best wines. Some of these techniques, such as manually sorting the apples and even working with an oenologist, are very rare in cider making. But as with wine, the quality of the apples is still the first essential step.

Thanks to quality and authenticity, Domaine Dupont ciders and calvados are today appreciated in many countries around the world. A large part of the production is for export.

Description

In 2020, the Dupont family launched this new product for the first time, inspired by the wine world to create a unique still cider. It is a refreshing cider with an elegant taste.

The cider is made with controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks with selected yeasts. As with white wine, the fermentation is completely completed, without residual sugars. The cider is left for several weeks to give extra roundness to the final product.

Golden and bright with aromas of butter, fresh apples and supported by exotic notes of pineapple, citrus fruits and acacia flowers. The cider tastes round and soft, followed by a pleasant freshness and a slightly salty mineral aftertaste.

Ideal to serve as an aperitif or during a meal as an accompaniment to fish, shellfish or sushi, light cheeses, white meat, and fruit desserts.

Without added sugars.
