A sparkling and dry cider made from traditional apple varieties such as Teórica, Raxao, Perico and Regona. This cider is made according to the champagne method with a second fermentation in the bottle. The first fermentation takes place with natural yeasts, the second fermentation with yeast isolates from our own cider cellar.
A palette of citrus, green apples, yeast and sweet banquet give this champagne-like cider a complex yet refreshing taste. Perfect with lighter meals, fish, fresh cheese and dessert.

Description

El Gaitero is a larger Asturian cider producer with a rich tradition. In 1888 the brothers Alberto and Eladio del Valle started producing 'champagne' ciders in Villaviciosa, financed by Bernardo de la Ballina and Ángel Fernández. Traditional apple varieties from our own and local orchards are used to make the natural and 'champagne' ciders. The cider factory from 1900 is now part of the industrial heritage.
