Description
The Cidrerie Lalobbe in the town of the same name has been in operation since the mid-nineties. The seven cider orchards are run by Étienne and Blandine Capitaine. They market their products under the name Les Bulles Ardennaises. In addition to 'normal' cider and poiré, they make various ciders with additions of fruit syrup.
All apples come from our own orchards. These are partly picked and partly mechanically picked. In total, Cidrerie Lalobbe has five hectares with 2000 apple trees growing on clay and limestone soils. The ciders are slowly fermented over three to four months with yeasts that are naturally present. After fermentation, the cider is filtered and bottled.
