Sopeña is the classic Spanish cider that is poured from high into the glass to add oxygen. A complex, savory and fresh cider with aromas of green apples and a little bit of funkyness. Made in the traditional way with cider apples from Asturias and therefore DOP (Denominación de Origen Protegida) certified.

The Martinez Sopena brothers started producing cider at a relatively young age. First with the cider house El Pharaoh, later with El Gobernador. Although the cider house itself is very modern, it is produced according to the traditional methods of Asturias. The apples come from their own orchards, are picked by hand and the cider is aged in wooden barrels after fermentation.
