Description
El Gaitero is a larger Asturian cider producer with a rich tradition. In 1888 the brothers Alberto and Eladio del Valle started producing 'champagne' ciders in Villaviciosa, financed by Bernardo de la Ballina and Ángel Fernández. Traditional apple varieties from our own and local orchards are used to make the natural and 'champagne' ciders. The cider factory from 1900 is now part of the industrial heritage.
