The Domaine Famille Dupont is located in the heart of the Normandy region of Pays d'Auge. The estate's orchards cover 30 hectares in the heart of the Pays d'Auge region, comprising 6000 apple trees in 13 different varieties. The family business, built up by three generations of cider makers, emphasizes quality and inventiveness.
Using the best techniques, second generation cider maker Etienne Dupont has managed to achieve the same level of elegance and expressiveness as in the best wines. Some of these techniques, such as manually sorting the apples and even working with an oenologist, are very rare in cider making. But as with wine, the quality of the apples is still the first essential step.
Thanks to their quality and authenticity, Domaine Dupont's ciders and calvados are today appreciated in many countries around the world. A large part of the production goes to export.
